Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026.
This policy explains what data is processed when you use the UroWoman Kazakhstan website. Personal data is processed in accordance with Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 94-V of 21 May 2013 "On Personal Data and Their Protection". In case of discrepancy, the Russian version of this policy prevails.
What data we collect
The website does not require registration, has no contact forms and does not collect visitors' names, phone numbers or email addresses. Test answers are shared with researchers only anonymously and only with your consent — see the next section.
ICIQ-SF online test
Your answers are processed in your browser. If you have not given consent to take part in research, they are not sent anywhere and disappear when you close or reload the page.
If you give consent, the following is sent anonymously to the research team: age, education, employment, marital status, your test answers, the total score, the page language, and the date and time of submission. Your name, phone, email and IP address are not recorded in the research database, so answers cannot be linked to a person. For the same reason an individual record cannot be found and deleted on request.
The data is kept in a protected Google Sheet accessible only to the research team and is used only in aggregate for scientific purposes. Participation is voluntary: declining does not affect the test in any way.
Technical data
Like any web server, the site's hosting provider may automatically log technical details of requests (IP address, date and time, browser type) for security and reliability. This data is not used to identify visitors.
Third-party services
Fonts are provided by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser contacts this service, which may receive your IP address under its own privacy policy. The site does not use advertising trackers.
Visitor statistics
We use GoatCounter to measure traffic. It records page views, referrer, device type, browser, language and country, and whether the online test was completed (without answers or results). GoatCounter does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses and cannot identify individual visitors. The data is used only in aggregate to understand how useful the site is.
External links
The site links to publications and clinical guidelines on third-party websites. We are not responsible for how those websites process data.
Changes to this policy
If the way we process data changes (for example, if a contact form is added), this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
